New Years Aspirations

I am not one who makes new years resolutions- mostly because I know I am not going to keep them; so, I am basically setting myself up for failure by saying, “this year I will…” Also, I am the type to get really pumped up about something and go all in and then, burn out. All the more reason the new years resolution is not for me. But here in lies the problem…

IT’S 2 DAYS UNTIL JANUARY 1 & I NEED TO LOOSE 70 POUNDS BY AUGUST!!!

You may ask yourself, “By August, why is that?”

And here in lies the rest of the problem…

A couple of years ago I heard that when a woman reaches age 25 the natural collagen (basically the elastic in your skin) is greatly reduced. Guess who will be 25 this year. No not Samuel L. Jackson, silly! ME!

So, I am breaking all my rules and saying this is the year. I think I’ll start tomorrow just on principal though, that way it is technically not a new years resolution.

I have 8 months to loose 70 pounds that is 10 pounds a month with a little breathing room.
